As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Susitna Animal Urgent Care, you are the face of our clinic. You set the tone for the client experience, providing a warm, empathetic welcome to pet owners in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. The CSR manages front-desk logistics, facilitates patient intake, and supports the medical team. Your mission is to keep front-desk operations running smoothly while providing vital administrative support to our veterinary medical team which requires exceptional communication skills, computer literacy, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
Client Relations
Manage phone lines and greet visitors, keeping communication clear and empathetic.
Patient Intake
Conduct basic visual triage for arriving patients and coordinate seamless check-ins.
Expectation Management
Keep pet owners informed about wait times with transparency and care.
Administrative Operations
Handle data entry, maintain veterinary medical records, and process client payments.
Schedule
Flexible shifts, including days and evenings.
