What to Expect at Your Visit

Fast Care When Your Pet Needs It Most

Walk-ins are always welcome, and you can call ahead to check wait times. Upon arrival, our reception team will check you in, and we’ll prioritize patients based on the urgency of their condition. A technician assistant will take a brief history, and your pet will be seen by a veterinarian as quickly as possible.

Throughout the process, we’ll provide clear treatment plans and cost estimates so you can make informed decisions with no surprises.

We know urgent care can be stressful, but our team is committed to making your visit efficient, transparent, and compassionate.

Before Your Visit

To help us provide the best care for your pet, please bring a paper copy of medical records, especially lab results, if available.

It’s also helpful to bring any current medications or a photo of prescription labels. If you don’t have copies, don’t worry—we can coordinate with your primary care veterinarian to obtain records electronically. The easiest way to reach us is by phone, Monday–Friday from 11 AM to 9 PM.

To streamline your visit, check-in and fill out the online registration paperwork. You can complete the paperwork in person upon arrival.

During Your Visit

We strive to keep you informed and involved in every step of your pet’s urgent care journey, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compassionate care.

Upon Check-in

  • Complete your online registration paperwork.
  • Once checked-in, a client service rep (CSR) will assist you right away and take a brief history of your pet’s condition.
  • A technician will see you as soon as possible, bringing you and your pet to a private room to gather essential details before your examination with the veterinarian.

Emergency Cases

If your pet is in critical condition, the CSR may call for immediate triage assessment. In this case, a technician will quickly evaluate your pet and may move them to a triage station in our treatment area while you are shown to a room to speak with the doctor. If emergency stabilization is required, a CSR may provide an initial estimate before treatment begins.

Once Your Pet is Assessed

  • A doctor will recommend essential diagnostics and treatment options
  • You will receive cost estimates before proceeding
  • Once approved, care begins immediately to ensure your pet gets the help they need

After Your Visit

Following your visit, you will receive detailed discharge instructions outlining your pet’s diagnosis, treatment, and home care recommendations to support their recovery.

We will also ensure that your primary care veterinarian receives a full record of your visit, including our findings and any recommended follow-up care.

If your pet is not improving within 24–48 hours or if their condition worsens at any time, please bring them back in or contact your primary care veterinarian for further evaluation. Your pet’s health is our priority, and we are here to provide continued support as needed.

Payment & Insurance

We are committed to providing the best possible care while maintaining transparency about costs. If you have any questions about payment or financing options, our team is happy to assist you!

Payment Policy

Payment in full is required at the time of service. If you’re on a budget, let us know during your visit. We will prioritize diagnostics and treatment to fit your pet’s needs while staying within your means.

Payment Methods

We always accept cash. We also accept all major credit cards, but please note a 4% fee applies to cover creditor fees.

Unfortunately, we do not accept checks.

If your pet’s care exceeds your budget, we can help you apply for flexible payment plans.

Pet Insurance

We highly recommend pet insurance to help cover unexpected medical expenses. Many staff members carry pet insurance for their animals. We recommend Embrace, Healthy Paws, Nationwide Pet Insurance, and Pets Best.
