Emergency Conditions We Treat

  • Difficulty breathing or sudden collapse
  • Seizures
  • Vehicular or other massive trauma

Our Stabilization Process

When your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, our team acts immediately to provide critical care and stabilization. Here’s what to expect during the process:

Step 1:
Immediate Triage & Assessment

If your pet’s condition is critical, our Client Service Rep (CSR) will notify the medical team for immediate triage.

A technician will assess your pet and may move them to a triage station in our treatment area for urgent stabilization. You will be shown to a room where the veterinarian will update you after the initial assessment.

Step 2:
Emergency Stabilization & Treatment Plan

If your pet is too unstable for the doctor to leave their side, a CSR may discuss an estimate for emergency stabilization procedures.

Once stabilized, the veterinarian will recommend essential diagnostics and treatments, providing a cost estimate before proceeding with additional care.

Step 3:
Crisis Management & Ongoing Care

Our skilled emergency care team will work quickly to stabilize your pet and address the immediate crisis.

Throughout the process, we keep you informed, ensuring you understand the treatment plan.

Step 4:
Referral & Continued Care

We will transfer all medical records and communicate directly with the receiving care team to ensure a seamless transition with no gaps in care prior to you transferring your pet.

Don’t Wait—In an Emergency, Every Second Counts

If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, don’t wait. Bring them in immediately for triage and stabilization, or call us for guidance. Our team is ready to provide urgent, life-saving care when every second counts.
